It’s simple, it’s easy, and there are always at least 13 winners and 12 honorable mentions… with prizes going to all winners. Don’t delay, submit your photos today to Jan Hoedebecke at the GTA Administrative Office. Here are the rules and guidelines: 475089-01A(10GTA Territory Times 1. You must be a Territory property owner or GTA employee. 2. All photos submitted must have been taken within The Galena Territory since January 2006. (This is not a typo) 3. Your photo(s) must be shot in a horizontal format. 4. Only digital photos will be accepted. a. Photos should be no smaller than 200 dpi and at least a five megabytes file per photo b. All photos must be submitted on a CD-Rom or flash drive; please include your name, address here in The Territory, phone number and e-mail address. 5. All entries must be received no later than Monday, Oct. 31, 2011 (Halloween), at the Owners’ Club office to the attention of Jan Hoedebecke. 6. All photos selected for publication will become the property of The Galena Territory Association, Inc. and as such, can be used in future publications and Web postings. The theme for the 2011 GTA Photo Contest is “Celebrating our Unique Distinction as a NWF www.thegalenaterritory.com This photo by property owner Michael Muzzey won the November slot in this year’s calendar and showcases the quiet remnants of a farm that was once located here in The Galena Territory. Halloween Night, Oct. 31 is the GTA Photo Contest Deadline 2011 PRIZE: TWO-HOUR RENTAL OF PONTOON GOOD THROUGH 2012 Due to the July storm, many winners of last year’s GTA Photo Contest were not able to utilize their prize certificate for a twohour rental of a pontoon on Lake Galena. So, if any of last year’s winners still have their prize certificate in hand, those certificates will be honored through the 2012 boating season. Join Ulysses and Julia Grant on the Italian leg of their aroundthe-world tour at the 30th Annual Mistletoe Ball: An Evening with the Grants in Palermo. Galena’s Turner Hall will be aglow for the festive holiday season, decorated in the style of the yacht on which General and Mrs. Grant celebrated Christmas during the first year of their world tour.
