Labarra es 1 cm.Observaciones.- Las diferencias observadas por Bonarelli entre Brachycerithium evolutum Bonarelli1921, Brachycerithium microstoma Bonarelli 1921 y Brachycerithium intermedium son consideradas nodiagnósticas y propias de la variabilidad natural entre individuos de diferentes clases etarias, por loque sinonimizamos las especies.Brachycerithium minus Bonarelli 1921Lámina 7 (Figs. 1-2)

VI,figs.8 y 9)Material tipo.- Holotipo: nº 277 Colección Guido Bonarelli, Museo Bernardino Rivadavia deBuenos Aires, teleconcha bien preservada.Otro material.- Dos especímenes del Maastrichtiano-Daniano de Jueya, Jujuy-Argentina (PIL14.688 y PIL 14.689).Descripción.- Espira cónica pequeña, dextral, costillas axiales nodígeras ortoclinas, con 5 a 6vueltas. La protoconcha no se ha preservado. El número de costillas por vuelta varía de 10 a 12.Ángulo apical 40º. La sutura es recta impresa, levemente opistoclina. El último anfracto convexo.La abertura es holostomada de contorno circular a oval.Dimensiones.- Largo máximo: 1, 3 cmAncho máximo 0,5 cmLargo de espira máximo: 0,7 cmObservaciones.- Los ejemplares de Brachycerithium minus PIL 14.688 y PIL 14.689 presentan elúltimo anfracto fracturado, sin embargo por la comparación con el holotipo ratificamos laasignación específica.Brachycerithium ferugloi Bonarelli 1921Lámina 8 (Figs. 1-4)1921 Brachycerithium ferugloi Bonarelli; (lám. XI,fig.22)1927 Brachycerithium ferugloi Bonarelli; (lám. VI,figs.10 a 13)Material tipo.- Holotipo: nº 301 Colección Guido Bonarelli, Museo Bernardino Rivadavia deBuenos Aires, teleconcha mal preservada.Otro material.- Cinco especímenes del Maastrichtiano-Daniano de Jueya, Jujuy-Argentina (PIL14.690-PIL 14.695).Descripción.-Espira cónica telescópica, dextral, costillas axiales fuertes tubercularesopistoclinas, con 4? a 5 vueltas preservadas. La protoconcha no se ha preservado. El número decostillas es de 12?. Ángulo apical mayor a 40º. La sutura es recta impresa, con un prominentehombro abapical. En cada anfracto, en el tercio abapical exhibe estrías espirales fuertes. Cadacostilla termina en el borde adapical del anfracto en un tubérculo .El último anfracto es convexo.La abertura no se ha preservado. Se diferencia de B. multicosta Bonarelli, 1927 porque presentaornamentación espiral en el tercio posterior de los anfractos, y los tubérculos abapicales sonmucho más pronunciados.Dimensiones.- Largo máximo:?Ancho máximo 1,3 cmLargo de espira máximo:?Observaciones.- A pesar de que las aberturas no se han preservados, todos los demás elementosdiagnósticos coinciden con el holotipo.Discusión y consideraciones finalesLos gasterópodos de la Formación Yacoraite representan el mejor registro, por su diversidad
