mamón, guarumo, matapalo, carao, caimito, semilla de pan, guanaba, nance, mamey,
níspero, jocotes, sunza o sunzapote, icaco, sincuya, almendro, arrayán, guachipilín,
manzana rosa, hoja de golpe, papaturro, paterna, pepeto, pochoto, tecomasuche, and
cuchamper.”
Pito tree grows in dry and humid forests, it blooms from January to March, although it
gives its fruit all year long. The popular food consumption is of its flowers and outbreak of
new leaves, and its consumption induces sleep.
