10 Install the remote control batteries<br />

You need the four AAA (IEC-LR3) batteries to complete this step.<br />

A. Slide the battery compartment cover from the end of the remote (Figure 15).<br />

B. Insert the batteries, making sure you match the polarity of the batteries with the<br />

polarity markings (+ and –) inside the battery compartment.<br />

C. Slide the cover back on the remote until it snaps shut.<br />

Note: While the battery compartment is open, be careful not to accidentally change the settings<br />

of the factory-preset miniature switches. They should be changed only as directed in the Reference<br />

section of the Operating Guide.<br />

Battery re<strong>placement</strong>:<br />

Replace all four batteries when the remote control stops operating or its range seems<br />

reduced. Alkaline batteries are recommended.<br />
