The SCART adapter can be used to connect European TVs to your <strong>system</strong> (Figure 21).<br />

Use the appropriate adapter setting for the type of video signal your TV accepts:<br />

V-IN for a composite video input signal<br />

S-IN for an S-Video (higher-quality image) input signal<br />

Note: If you see only black and white on your TV screen after setting the SCART connector for<br />

S-Video, set the connector back to Composite video (V-IN).<br />
