Should not light up all 5 L<strong>ED</strong> supply the battery<br />
with a fully recharge. Connect to the vehicle<br />
battery with the supplied charger. See Chapter<br />

Locking the key switch (1) ensures a secure hold<br />
on the battery and the optimal electrical contact<br />
to the electronics in the battery Controller.<br />

Lithium-ion batteries have a significantly<br />
lower self-discharge as Nickel batteries<br />
and can therefore stored for about 3<br />
months without recharging. If after this<br />
time the battery is not charged it can still<br />
damage the chemical structure of the<br />

Removal of the battery<br />
To remove the battery, proceed as follows (see<br />
illustrations):<br />

• Key switch to the left<br />
• and open the lock (1)<br />
• Open the cap (2)<br />
• Pull out the battery (3)<br />
When reinstalling, you go in reverse sequence.<br />
• Make sure that the contacts of the Battery<br />
(5) get the contacts of the battery controller<br />
(4). Therefore put the battery with gentle<br />
pressure in the battery bay.<br />
