A comparison of the intensities of methylene peaks between pure amine and mixed film transferred
at 40 mN m1 (Figure 6) implies a lower concentration of ODA for the latter. Such a result could mean
that a few protein molecules are inserted within the ODA molecules, contributing to the formation of
defects mentioned above.
4. Conclusion
In this paper, we have shown that the quality of the ODA-BuChE LB film was strongly dependent
on the surface pressure chosen and that mixed LB films very well structured could be obtained by
choosing a transfer pressure of 40 mN m1.
After it is deposited onto a sensor surface (ISFET microsensors in our study), such an enzymatic
film could be cross-linked with GA in order to enhance its stability. Application of this type of biosensor
for the detection of pesticide will be investigated.
