OPERATION 4❏ “IMMOBILIZER” ModeEN4The “IMMOBILIZER” lets the engine start only if itrecognises the original starter key. This is actually ananti-theft device built into the electronic circuit of thevehicle, since only authorised people are allowed todrive it. Use the dashboard “IMMOBILIZER” only in theevent of a breakdown. If for any reason the original keyis not recognised by the system, you must manuallyenter the secret code, which is on the <strong>MV</strong> CodeCard, tolet the engine start (see §4.4.6.).- 74 -
