Der Gründer Arthur Hecker begann im Jahre 1904 mit der
Herstellung von Stopfbuchspackungen und Dichtungen. Mit zunehmender
Technisierung im Laufe der Jahrzehnte entwickelten sich die
HECKER WERKE mit zu den führenden Produzenten von High-Tech-
Dichtungssystemen auf dem internationalen Markt.
Die AEGIRA-Gleitringdichtung – ein HECKER-Produkt – ist ein
hochentwickeltes Dichtungselement. Es wird in allen Industriezweigen
eingesetzt, in denen rotierende Wellen gegen Flüssigkeiten und Gase
abzudichten sind.
Als zuverlässiges, wartungsfreies Konstruktionsbauteil wird es in
Kreiselpumpen, Misch- und Rührwerken, Verdichtern u. a. eingesetzt
und dient in hohem Maße der Sicherheit und dem Umweltschutz.
Die gemeinsamen Forschungstätigkeiten mit Universitäten, die Verwendung
technologisch fortschrittlicher Werkstoffe, ein strenges Qualitätssicherungssystem

The founder, Arthur Hecker, started in 1904 with the production
of stuffing box packings and seals. With the continuing advances in
mechanisation and automation over the course of the decades, the
HECKER WERKE developed into one of the leading manufacturers
of high-tech seal systems on the international market.
The AEGIRA mechanical seal – a HECKER product – is a highly
sophisticated seal element. It is employed in all branches of industry
in which rotating shafts have to be sealed against liquids and gases.
As a reliable, maintenance-free construction element it is
employed in centrifugal pumps, mixers and agitators, compressors,
etc. and plays a major role in ensuring safety and environmental
protection.
The research activities in conjunction with universities, the use of
technologic advanced materials, a strict quality assurance system in
accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and DIN EN ISO 14001 as well as
intensive work in the laboratory and on the test rig are our customers’
