International Programme for
Specialisation in Orthodontics

We oer one of the most attractive academic specialist training programmes in the eld of Orthodontics.
e programme comprises three years of full time studies, starting in January 2011.
Orthodontics is a recognised specialty in most countries and is the ultimate dream for numerous dentists. During the
period of 1993-2009 the programme has provided 33 dentists from 11 countries with a solid clinical training combined
with a well known Scandinavian “orthodontic approach” at one of the highest ranked European medical universities.
e programme is conducted under the auspices of the Swedish Board of Medical Health and Welfare and is among the
rst programmes to be incorporated in a Network of Erasmus Based European Orthodontic Programmes.
e programme will be conducted at the Department of Dental Medicine,
Karolinska Institutet, Campus Huddinge in Stockholm, Sweden.
