The seminar is developed as a two semester course were students develop their ideas from first concepts
to designs worked out until the scale of 1:1.

This semester you will have cooperation’s with the department of design and structure of Prof. Klaus
Rückert and the model workshop under the supervision of Burkhard Lüdtke. You will have separate
critics with both the department of design and structure, the model workshop and LIA. Students will
receive additionally to the 1.4 design certificate the 6.2 building construction certificate with 6 SWS and
the 4.4 model construction certificate with 4 SWS. The cooperation with the construction seminar is
obligatory. The aim of this cooperation is to give students the opportunity to develop their design precisely
from the first idea through all the scales up to 1:1 and to study different materials which are gonna
be used to reflect their initial ideas. The cooperation with the model workshop is optional.
