DER ERSTE TON_FILM ENTSTEHT<br />
Zwischen 1913 und 1931 beherrschte der Stummfilm<br />
das Indische Kino. Erste Produktionshäuser<br />
entstanden, die ihre eigenen Schauspieler, Techniker<br />
und Drehbuch-Autoren hatten und zwei bis drei<br />
Filme pro Jahr produzierten. Schon früh entwickelte<br />
sich ein ausgeklügeltes Produktions-, Finanzierungs-<br />
und Vertriebssystem. In dieser Zeit<br />
entstand schließlich der erste Ton-Film, der 1931<br />
veröffentlichte Film „Alam Ara“ von Regisseur<br />
Ardeshir Irani mit Zubeida und Prithviraj Kapoor in<br />
den Hauptrollen. Kurz darauf folgte der Film<br />
„Ayodhyecha Raja” und ein neuer Trend entstand.<br />
Die Produktionsstudios stellten komplett auf Ton-<br />
Filme um und somit war auch gleich die Möglichkeit<br />
geschaffen, dass man die Darsteller in den<br />
Filmen auch singen lassen konnte.<br />
