RAJESH KHANNA EROBERT DIE LEINWAND UND DIE FRAUEN<br />
1969 war das Jahr von Schauspieler Rajesh Khanna, aber auch das Jahr des Arthouse-Cinemas. Arthouse-Filmemacher<br />
aus ganz Indien lieferten sich einen harten Konkurrenzkampf, da jeder seinen Film<br />
auf einem der vielen Filmfestivals ausgezeichnet wissen wollte. Die drei Filme „Bhuvan Shome“, „Us<br />
Ki Roti“ und „Maya Darpan“ wurden von drei verschiedenen Filmemachern produziert und waren<br />
dennoch alle drei gleichsam erfolgreich, sowohl kommerziell als auch seitens der Filmkritiker. Schon<br />
bald begann in Indien sich eine eigenständige Arthouse-Cinema Szene zu etablieren, in welcher die<br />
Filmemacher Mrinal Sen, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Kumar Shahani, Mani Kaul und später auch Shyam<br />
Benegal und Aravindan wahre Ikonen des Indischen Kinos wurden und den indischen Film weltweit auf<br />
Filmfestivals bekannt machten.<br />
Rajesh Khanna eroberte die Herzen der Kinozuschauer im Sturm.<br />
