Operation4.6Electronics, Ground Connection, EarthingThe sensor housings are connected to signal ground and to supply ground by capacitors.Signal ground and supply ground are dc-insulated for the 24 V option.Mounting the sensor in a metal holder establishes a sufficient ground connection.An additional groundconnection is required for small, remotely located targets.
