SDF1/CXCR4/CXCR7-ACHSE
Department aktuell intensiv an einem thrombozytenspezifischen
CXCR7-Agonisten geforscht. Erste
Ergebnisse zeigen, dass unsere aktuell vorhandenen
CXCR7-Agonisten die Thrombenbildung sowohl in
vitro als auch in vivo verlangsamen. Spannende
erste Daten vom Schlaganfallmodell in der Maus
demonstrieren ein im Vergleich zur Kon trollgruppe
deutlich vermindertes Infarktareal sowie ein signifikant
verbessertes funktionelles Ergebnis in Mäusen,
welche mit dem CXCR7-Agonisten behandelt
wurden.
Fazit und Ausblick
Die thrombozytäre SDF1/CXCR4/CXCR7-Achse
beeinflusst zahlreiche Prozesse rund um den
Thrombozyten. Diese Effekte reichen von Progenitorzellmigration
über Inflammation, von Apoptose
über antithrombogene Effekte bis hin zur Beeinflussung
des thrombozytären Lipidmetabolismus.
Wir sind überzeugt, dass die thrombozytäre SDF1/
CXCR4/CXCR7-Achse zahlreiche therapeutische
Ansatzpunkte liefert, um Patienten mit symptomatischen
kardiovaskulären Erkrankungen in
Zukunft besser zu behandeln.
