DANIEL NOLASCO wurde in Catalão,<br />
(Brasilien) geboren. Er hat einen Bachelor-<br />
Abschluss in Film und audiovisueller Kommunikation<br />
der Universidade Federal Fluminense<br />
in Rio de Janeiro sowie einen Abschluss in<br />
Geschichte der Universidade Federal de<br />
Goiás. Er schrieb und inszenierte über neun<br />
Kurzfilme, die auf zahlreichen nationalen<br />
und internationalen Festivals gezeigt und<br />
ausgezeichnet wurden. Nach dem Abschluss<br />
der Dreharbeiten zu „Paulistas“ im Jahr 2017,<br />
präsentierte er 2018 den Kurzfilm „Sr. Raposo“.<br />
Sein letzter Spielfilm ist „Mr. Leather“ (2019) ,<br />
der auch bei den diesjährigen Filmtagen<br />
gezeigt wird.<br />
Daniel Nolasco was born in the city of Catalão<br />
(Brazil). He has a bachelor’s degree in Film and<br />
Audiovisual Communication from Universidade<br />
Federal Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro, and in<br />
History from Universidade Federal de Goiás.<br />
He has written and directed nine short films that<br />
have been screened at many national and international<br />
film festivals, winning various prizes.<br />
After filming “Paulistas” in 2017, he presented<br />
the short film “Sr. Raposo” in 2018. His current<br />
feature film is “Mr. Leather” (HIQFF 2019).<br />

MEL PRITCHARD war bereits seit ihrem ersten<br />
Besuch 2003 ein großer Fan der Filmtage. Von<br />
2005 bis 2010 war sie schließlich Mitglied im<br />
Festivalteam und kuratierte in dieser Zeit die<br />
Kurzfilm-Programme, auch für andere queere<br />
Filmfestivals in Europa. Nach ihrer Rückkehr<br />
nach Australien kuratierte sie Filme für einen<br />
lesbischen Online-Filmservice und war im<br />
Sichtungskommitee des Melbourne Queer<br />
Film Festivals. Sie betreibt die von ihr gegründete<br />
Website The Big Queer Film Festival List,<br />
ein Online-Kalender mit einer Übersicht über<br />
alle queeren Filmfestivals weltweit.<br />
Sie freut sich sehr auf die Arbeit in der diesjährigen<br />
Festivaljury und wird einen ihrer<br />
Lieblingsfilme aus Australien mit nach<br />
<strong>Hamburg</strong> bringen!<br />
Mel Pritchard has been a big fan of the HIQFF<br />
since her first visit in 2003. From 2005 to 2010 she<br />
was a member of the festival team, curating the<br />
short film programmes. During this time, she was<br />
also involved in other queer film festivals in Europe.<br />
After her return to Australia she curated films for<br />
a lesbian online film service and was on the viewing<br />
committee of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival.<br />
She runs The Big Queer Film Festival List, an online<br />
calendar with an overview of all queer film<br />
festivals worldwide. She is looking forward to<br />
working with this year’s festival jury and is<br />
bringing one of her favourite films from Australia<br />
to <strong>Hamburg</strong>!<br />

MEL PRITCHARDS LIEBLINGSFILM, S. 22<br />
ZOYA ist Organisator, Filmprogrammierer und<br />
Kurator beim TransFormations – Trans* Film<br />
Festival Berlin. Das TFFB ist ein alle zwei Jahre<br />
stattfindendes, basisnahes, Communityorientiertes<br />
Festival, das von einem ausschließlich<br />
Schwarzen und PoC Trans*, two<br />
spirit, gender-non-conforming Team organisiert<br />
wird. Mit einem intersektionalen Verständnis<br />
von Trans*-Identitäten und -erfahrungen<br />
als Ausgangspunkt, ist das Fes tival<br />
bestrebt, ein breites Spektrum an Filmen,<br />
Kunstwerken und Performances aus verschiedenen<br />
Regionen und Kontexten zusammenzubringen,<br />
um nuanciertere Diskurse über die<br />
Vergangenheit, die Gegenwart und die Zukunft<br />
von Queer, Trans* und Inter zu feiern.<br />
Zoya is organiser, film programmer and curator at<br />
TransFormations – Trans* Film Festival Berlin.<br />
TFFB is a biennial, grassroots, communityfocused<br />
festival organised by an exclusively Black<br />
and PoC trans*, two-spirit, gender-non-conforming<br />
team. With an intersectional understanding of<br />
trans* identities and experiences as its starting<br />
point, the festival strives to bring together a broad<br />
range of films, art works and performances from<br />
different regions and contexts, in celebration<br />
of nuanced discourses on queer, trans* and inter<br />
pasts, presents and futures.<br />
