Projektunterricht „Uwe Johnson in
vielschichtiges Konzept erarbeitet, Uwe Johnsons
ersten Roman „Ingrid Babendererde“ in der Schule zu
behandeln. Dazu trugen die Studierenden Unterrichtsideen
zusammen, gestalteten Arbeitsabschnitte und
entwarfen schließlich ein Schulprojekt für Schüler der
10. und 11. Klassen. An zwei Projekttagen näherten
sich 40 Schüler ihren Interessen und Begabungen
entsprechend gemeinsam mit den Lehramtsstudierenden
den Schauplätzen und Gestalten des Romans.
Der Schriftsteller Uwe Johnson besuchte von 1948 bis
1952 die John-Brinckman-Oberschule in Güstrow und
legte dort sein Abitur ab.
Project classes „Uwe Johnson in
school“
On 21 May 2011 the students of the John Brinckman
grammar school in Güstrow presented the results of
their project classes prepared as part of the seminar
„Johnson in school“ by teacher training students of
Rostock University. Katrin Philipp and Prof. Dr. Holger
Helbig from the Institute of German language and
literature came up with the idea for this seminar together
with Heike Wittenburg, who teaches German at
the John Brinckman grammar school. The participants
of the seminar had worked out a complex concept for
treating Uwe Johnson‘s first novel „Ingrid Babendererde“
in school. To this end the teacher training students
gathered ideas for the classes, worked out work segments
and finally came up with a school project for
students in year 11 and 12. In the course of two project
days and proceeding from their interests and talents,
40 students familiarised themselves with the scenes
and characters of the novel together with the teacher
training students. The writer Uwe Johnson attended
the John Brinckman extended secondary school in
Güstrow from 1948 to 1952 and took his school-leaving
exam (GCSE) there.
