in structure analysis <strong>of</strong> solids and diagnosing <strong>of</strong> many plasmas<br />
etc.; they learn how to investigate the structure <strong>of</strong> solid materials<br />
using X-rays and particles<br />
Content: X-ray absorption, X-ray generation and X-ray sources, radiation<br />
protection, X-ray diffraction, methods <strong>of</strong> structure analysis using<br />
X-rays, particle matter interaction, material analysis using<br />
electrons and ions<br />
Assessment: 1 hr final exam, excersises<br />
