Easter at Bembridge<br />
Steeped in history with 60 miles of stunning unspoilt scenery and a wealth<br />
of attractions, the Isle of Wight has something to offer everyone. Noted as<br />
perhaps one of the most upmarket areas on the island, Bembridge offers a<br />
surprisingly busy harbour that is popular with owners of pleasure craft and<br />
fishing boats.<br />
Day 1 We make use of the excellent coffee<br />
and lunch facilities at Guildford town centre<br />
during our relatively short journey to catch our<br />
Isle of Wight ferry.<br />
Day 2 Today we take a ride on the Isle<br />
of Wight Steam Railway. We join one of<br />
their vintage steam locomotives for a special<br />
journey back in time. We breathe in the<br />
evocative smells of a real steam railway,<br />
while our eyes and ears thrill to the puffing<br />
and hissing of the steam engine. Settle<br />
back in beautifully restored Victorian and<br />
Edwardian carriages and enjoy unique views<br />
of the countryside.<br />
Day 3 Today on Easter Sunday we enjoy<br />
a magnificent scenic coach tour using as<br />
many coastal routes as possible. We stop at<br />
picturesque places throughout the route.<br />
It ends in Godshill, a picturesque village<br />
comprising thatched cottages, gift shops,<br />
craft shops and tearooms. Definitely a day to<br />
have your camera with you!<br />
Day 4 We make our to Polhill Garden Centre<br />
for you to purchase lunch before we continue<br />
our homeward journey.<br />

eastern shore of the Isle of Wight. It<br />

bedrooms have TV, telephone, hairdryer,<br />
ironing facilities and hospitality tray.<br />
Leisure facilities include indoor swimming<br />
pool, sauna, steam room, fitness studio,<br />
indoor bowls, outdoor bowls green,<br />
games room, croquet, tennis and squash<br />
courts. Single rooms are allocated in<br />
chalet accommodation but can be<br />
