27 Commitments<br />

The Group had contracted capital commitments amounting to £4.2m (2011: £2.0m) at the end of the financial year for which no provision<br />

has been made.<br />

Dividends<br />

The Directors have proposed a dividend of 0.26 pence per share as a final dividend in respect of the year ended 31 March <strong>2012</strong>. No charge<br />

in respect of the proposed dividend has been made in the income statement for the year, <strong>and</strong> there were no tax consequences. The total<br />

amount payable if the dividend is approved at the AGM is as follows:<br />

0.26 pence (2011: 0.2 pence) on 517.2m (2011: 517.2m) ordinary shares 1.3 1.0<br />

29 Related party disclosures<br />

Key management remuneration<br />

The Group’s key management personnel are the Executive <strong>and</strong> Non-Executive Directors as identified in the Remuneration report.<br />

In addition to their salaries, the Group also provides non-cash benefits to Executive Directors, <strong>and</strong> contributes to approved pension<br />

schemes on their behalf. Executive Directors also participate in the Group’s share option schemes.<br />

Non-Executive Directors receive a fee for their services to the <strong>Speedy</strong> <strong>Hire</strong> Plc Board.<br />

Full details of key management personnel compensation <strong>and</strong> interests in the share capital of the Company as at 31 March <strong>2012</strong> are given<br />

in the Remuneration <strong>Report</strong>.<br />
