Mrs. Watk<strong>in</strong>s bowed her acquiescence, and resumed her<br />

place at the kitchen fire, though <strong>in</strong>ternally <strong>in</strong>veigh<strong>in</strong>g<br />

aga<strong>in</strong>st the priest, f<strong>or</strong> she was curious to see how these<br />
