*** Proclamation appealing to the people of Liguria to resist invasion
by Austria. In 1797, the Ligurian Republic had been established by
Napoleon in his victorious Italian campaign. Napoleon left Italy and
invaded Egypt, leaving Austria free to recapture Ligeria in 1800, a
few months after this proclamation. When Napoleon returned to
France as First Consul, he soon reversed the situation, restoring
French control in 1801.

18th December 1843, regretting that he cannot come to dinner, and
asking after Madame Fabbroni, and pointing out the difference
between Prince John George, not being the same as the elector
George William or John Sigismund, Electors of Brandenburg, tear
where opened, slightly browned. Giovanni Fabbroni (1752-1822),

a new contact I may choose to stay longer in Paris, I have three new
