just touching a letter on each, no loss of sense of text, some light<br />

browning, some light water-staining, 18th century mottled calf,<br />

gilt spine in compartments and with a morocco label, slightly<br />

occasional water-staining, mostly to end of part 2, contemporary<br />

blind-stamped pigskin over wooden boards, metal clasps, covers<br />

with blind-stamped portraits, lacking ties, stained, [Not in Adams],<br />

important 16th century emblem and numismatic books: Emblemata<br />
