with two-line initials in gold, with decoration in gold, blue and
pink exteending over left-hand, and into upper and lower margins,
several one-line initials and line-fillers in gold, blue and pink,

o f ho u r s, illuminated manuscript on vellum, with two small
miniatures of saints, on recto St John the Baptist, a three-quarter
length image of the saint in a brown robe, pointing at a lamb resting
on a book in his other hand, in a landscape, on verso St Anthony, a
half length image wearing a brown and blue habit, on a gold and
blue ground, 18 lines of text in dark brown ink in a gothic liturgical
hand, headings in blue, one 2-line initial in gold on a red ground,
both sides with border in fore-edge margin of foliage and flowers in
green, blue and white on a dark red and gold ground, little spotted
and marked, framed and glazed, 150 x 100 mm., [North France, c.
