to plates, contemporary ms. divisional titles and index, title and
preliminaries browned and mounted on stubs, plates mounted on
stubs and with occasional spotting, but generally in good clean
condition, contemporary half calf, spine gilt, rubbed and scuffed,
4to, Weimar, 1792. sold as a collection of plates and not subject to

brown half crushed morocco, gilt spines in compartments, corners
a little worn, rubbed, t.e.g., 8vo, Madrid, D. Gabriel de Sancha,

foxing, but generally in good condition, short repaired tear to fold
of printed list, ?original boards, original printed labels to covers,
rebacked, preserving original backstrip, upper corners repaired,
lightly soiled, housed in a later marbled board slip-case, narrow
oblong 4to, Saint Petersburg, Pluchart, 13th March, 1826.

*** A rare panorama. Alexander’s death and subsequent interment
so far from Moscow caused rumours that the events were staged
so that the Emperor could live in solitude following a tumultuous
reign.
