Labelling for recommended ironing temperature
It should be remembered that an electric iron has a calibrated temperature control dial that
is labelled to match the dot symbols, which should be checked against the advice on the
care label before use. However, the steam heated metal head of a commercial laundry
press only has a fixed temperature of approximately 150 °C — so extreme care should
be taken in selecting items to be finished on this type of press.
