A fhephefds brat even as I was,<br />

I never had come to the kings faire courte,<br />

Now marrye me, or not, fir knight,<br />

Your pleafure mail be free :<br />

Ah ! curfed bee the g<strong>old</strong>, he fayd,<br />

If thou hadft not been trewe,<br />

And now their hearts being linked faft,<br />

They joyned hand in hande<br />
