TELL<br />

me not, fweet, I am unkinde,<br />

That from the nunnerie<br />

Of thy chafte breaft and quiet minde,<br />

To warre and armes I flie.<br />

True ;<br />

The firft foe in the field<br />

a new miftreffe now I chafe,<br />

And with a ftronger faith imbrace<br />

A fword, a horfe, a fhield.<br />

Yet this inconftancy is fuch,<br />

As you too mall adore ;<br />

I could not love thee, deare, fo much,<br />

Loy'd J not honour more.<br />
