me not, fweet, I am unkinde,
That from the nunnerie
Of thy chafte breaft and quiet minde,
To warre and armes I flie.

The firft foe in the field
a new miftreffe now I chafe,
And with a ftronger faith imbrace
A fword, a horfe, a fhield.
Yet this inconftancy is fuch,
As you too mall adore ;
I could not love thee, deare, fo much,
Loy'd J not honour more.
