I'll do more for thee, Margaret,<br />

Than any <strong>of</strong> thy kin;<br />

For I will kifs thy pale wan lips,<br />

Though a fmile I cannot win.<br />

With that befpake the feven brethren,<br />

You may go kifs your jolly brown bride,<br />

And let our filler alone.<br />

Fair Margaret dyed to-day, to-day, 6c<br />

Fair Margaret dyed for pure true love,<br />

Sweet William dyed for forrow.<br />

Margaret was buryed in the lower chancel,<br />

And William in the higher : 70<br />

Out <strong>of</strong> her breft there fprang a r<strong>of</strong>e,<br />
