The hue and CRY after Cupid is a kind <strong>of</strong> Tranflation<br />

<strong>of</strong> a pretty poem o/'Tasso's, called Amore fuggitivo,<br />

generally printed 'with his Ami NT a, and originally imitated<br />

from Moschus.<br />

Since this ballad was printed <strong>of</strong>f the Editor hath feen an<br />

<strong>ancient</strong> black-letter copy, containing fome 'variations, and in-<br />

titled, " The merry pranks <strong>of</strong> Robin Good-Fellow. To the<br />

" tune <strong>of</strong>Dulcina, &c" Seep. 151.<br />

To this copy were prefixed two wooden cuts <strong>of</strong> Robin<br />

Good-Fellow, whichfeem to reprefent the dreffes in which<br />

this whimjical characler was formerly exhibited on the Jlage '.<br />

To gratify the curious thefe are engraven below.<br />
