(4) For purposes <strong>of</strong> this section, "public record" means all documents,<br />
papers, letters, maps, books, tapes, photographs, films, sound recordings, or<br />
other material, regardless <strong>of</strong> physical form or characteristics, made or received<br />
pursuant to law or ordinance or in connection with the transaction <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>ficial<br />
business by the legislative branch.<br />
(5) Nothing herein shall be construed to limit the authority <strong>of</strong> each<br />
house <strong>of</strong> the Legislature to adopt rules pursuant to Art. I, s. 24 <strong>of</strong> the State<br />
Constitution.<br />
11.065 Claims against state; limitations; notice.—<br />
(1) No claims against the state shall be presented to the Legislature<br />
more than 4 years after the cause for relief accrued. Any claim presented after<br />
this time <strong>of</strong> limitation shall be void and unenforceable.<br />
(2) All relief acts <strong>of</strong> the Legislature shall be for payment in full. No<br />
further claims for relief shall be submitted to the Legislature in the future.<br />
(3) Notice shall be given as provided in s. 11.02 prior to the<br />
introduction <strong>of</strong> any relief act which provides for the payment <strong>of</strong> the claim from<br />
funds scheduled for distribution to a municipality from the revenue-sharing trust<br />
fund for municipalities.<br />
11.07 Method <strong>of</strong> enrolling bills, etc.—<br />
(1) All bills and joint resolutions passed by the Senate and <strong>House</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Representatives</strong> shall be duly enrolled, on paper, by the Secretary <strong>of</strong> the Senate<br />
or the Clerk <strong>of</strong> the <strong>House</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Representatives</strong>, accordingly as the bills or joint<br />
resolutions may have originated in the Senate or <strong>House</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Representatives</strong>,<br />
before they shall be presented to the Governor or filed in the Department <strong>of</strong><br />
State.<br />
(2) Coded indicators <strong>of</strong> words to be added or deleted from existing<br />
sections <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Florida</strong> Statutes or the State Constitution, as authorized by the<br />
rules <strong>of</strong> the Senate and <strong>House</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Representatives</strong>, shall not be deleted upon<br />
enrolling <strong>of</strong> the act. However, such indicators are solely for the convenience <strong>of</strong><br />
those using the pamphlet and session laws and shall not be considered to<br />
constitute a part <strong>of</strong> the act as passed.<br />
(3) The size, style and quality <strong>of</strong> the paper to be used shall be<br />
prescribed by the Department <strong>of</strong> State and furnished by it, in sufficient<br />
quantities, to the Secretary <strong>of</strong> the Senate and the Clerk <strong>of</strong> the <strong>House</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Representatives</strong>. The cost <strong>of</strong> said enrolling paper shall be paid for by the<br />
Legislature from the appropriation for legislative expense.<br />
11.111 Continuance <strong>of</strong> certain causes for term <strong>of</strong> Legislature and period <strong>of</strong><br />
time prior and subsequent thereto and committee workdays.—Any<br />
proceeding before any court, municipality, or agency <strong>of</strong> government <strong>of</strong> this state<br />
shall stand continued, without the continuance being charged against any party,<br />
during any session <strong>of</strong> the Legislature and for a period <strong>of</strong> time 15 days prior to<br />
any session <strong>of</strong> the Legislature and 15 days subsequent to the conclusion <strong>of</strong> any<br />
session <strong>of</strong> the Legislature, and during any period <strong>of</strong> required committee work<br />
