SECTION W: DISCIPLINARY<br />

W.52.4. in the case of a Respondent which is a Club:<br />

W.52.4.1. suspend it from playing in League Matches for such period as it<br />

thinks fit;<br />

W.52.4.2. deduct points scored or to be scored in League Matches;<br />

W.52.4.3. recommend that the Board orders that a League Match<br />

be replayed;<br />

W.52.4.4. recommend that the League expels the Respondent from<br />

membership in accordance with the provisions of Rule B.7;<br />

W.52.5. order the Respondent to pay compensation unlimited in amount to any<br />

Person or to any Club (or club);<br />

W.52.6. cancel or refuse the registration of a Player registered or attempted to<br />

be registered in contravention of these Rules;<br />

W.52.7. impose upon the Respondent any combination of the foregoing or such<br />

other penalty as it shall think fit;<br />

W.52.8. order the Respondent to pay such sum by way of costs as it shall think fit<br />

which may include the fees and expenses of members of the Commission<br />

paid or payable under Rule W.50; and<br />

W.52.9. make such other order as it thinks fit.<br />

W.53. Where a Person, Club or club has been invited to address the Commission on<br />

compensation, the Commission may adjourn the hearing to allow all relevant<br />

parties to make submissions, or if it considers that it is in the interest of justice that<br />

the determination of the complaint be resolved before the issue of compensation<br />

is addressed, direct that a further hearing take place on the issue of compensation<br />

after the complaint has been determined.<br />

W.54. A Person, Club or club invited to make submissions on compensation shall be<br />

entitled to be present at the hearing, but may only make submissions or advance<br />

evidence or question witnesses if and to the extent that the Chairman of the<br />

Commission gives it leave.<br />

W.55. If the Board fails to prove a complaint a Commission may order the League to pay<br />

to the Respondent such sum by way of costs as it shall think fit.<br />

W.56. Where a Respondent Club is suspended from playing in League Matches under the<br />

provisions of Rule W.52.4.1, its opponents in League Matches which should have<br />

been played during the period of suspension, unless a Commission otherwise<br />

orders, shall be deemed to have won them.<br />

W.57. Fines and costs shall be recoverable by the Board as a civil debt; compensation<br />

shall likewise be recoverable by the person or Club entitled to receive it.<br />

W.58. Fines recovered by the Board shall be used towards the operating expenses of<br />

the League or, at the discretion of the Board, towards charitable purposes.<br />

Costs recovered by the Board shall be used to defray the costs of the Commission.<br />
