7.3.1 For initial start proceed as follows
1. Turn key-operated switch in position „ 1 “.

2. The control LED pre-glowing lights up, pre-glowing time approx. 15 sec.
3. Pre-glowing LED extinguishes.
4. Turn key-operated switch in position „ START “.
Diesel engine of generator starts (start phase < 3-4 sec.).
If the red LED

If the Diesel engine does not start immediately, wait for approx. 5 s
and repeat starting.

„battery“ flashes, the generator does not supply a sufficiently
„battery” changes from RED to GREEN :
• Diesel engine reaches its rated speed.
• Generator supplies its rated voltage (230 Volt).
• All monitoring LED light green.
Prior to loading the generator by electrical consumers check the
coolant level in the expansion vessel.
Now the generator can be loaded with electrical consumers.
Turn main switch* (mains/generator switch) in position „2“.
• Connect the consumers
(for loading refer to the nameplate).
• Switch off the generator in case of unclear troubles.
(refer also to operating manual/Failure, elimination of failures, repair)
* (if any)
Do not operate the generator continuously in short-time mode but
mainly in continuous mode under load.
