1 Pour a small amount of Scaling Fluid (approximately ¼ teaspoon) in<strong>to</strong> a small<br />
dish and mix with a dry Fan Masque Brush <strong>to</strong> a foa<strong>my</strong> consistency (similar <strong>to</strong><br />
whisked egg white) <strong>to</strong> eliminate any dripping upon application. Protect eyes<br />
with gauze.<br />

One drop of Purifying Botanical Mixer can be added after fluid has been<br />
whipped <strong>to</strong> cus<strong>to</strong>mize treatment.<br />
2 Apply foam <strong>to</strong> areas of congestion with Fan Masque Brush.<br />
3 Allow solution <strong>to</strong> activate and dissolve <strong>the</strong> impactions for 7 <strong>to</strong> 10 minutes under<br />
warm steam.<br />

Scaling Fluid contains sodium salts and can be used with galvanic current<br />
on <strong>the</strong> negative polarity for 4 minutes. Scaling Fluid can be used as a cleaning<br />
medium with vacuum suction <strong>to</strong> facilitate comedone removal. One tablespoon<br />
may be used alone, or mix one scoop Enzymatic Base, Part A with a small<br />
amount (tablespoon) of Scaling Fluid for a deep-cleansing enzyme exfoliation<br />
prior <strong>to</strong> extractions.<br />
4 Tissue off excess, perform extractions, <strong>the</strong>n rinse with warm water cus<strong>to</strong>mized<br />
with prescribed <strong>Dermalogica</strong> Botanical Mixer and sponges. Follow with Post<br />
Extraction Solution.<br />
