simulation desenption <strong>of</strong> the previous parwaph. The outputs from the simulat~on<br />
are the radial and tangential component. estimatedfrom the vector current algantbm.<br />
A comparison is shown in Figure 5.9 where the actual data case is compared to<br />
the simulated result. Even though the radial componente are estimated to mtthin<br />
re-n for both eases, the tangential components exhibit sidcaotly more variability.<br />
As illustrated by this example, it is plausible that <strong>be</strong>am direction emam <strong>may</strong> <strong>be</strong><br />
responsible for the resulte observed in the actud tangential component mmparison.<br />
