Campbell and Klondike highways. Choose<br />
from four lakeside campgrounds. Turn east<br />
from the Klondike Highway about<br />
30 km north of Carmacks.<br />
Odd Gallery, Dawson City<br />
Dawson City’s dynamic arts and cultural<br />
scene is evident in the flourishing Klondike<br />
Institute of Art and Culture (KIAC). Visit<br />
the art gallery operated by KIAC in the<br />
restored Odd Fellows Hall at the corner of<br />
Second and Princess.<br />
Parks Canada Tours, Dawson City<br />
Hear captivating stories of the gold rush<br />
era from knowledgeable guides attired in<br />
period costume. The Town Guided Walking<br />
Tour is a one-and-a-half-hour stroll<br />
through Dawson City’s downtown core.<br />

Drive or hike to the top of the Dome,<br />
the rounded peak above Dawson City with<br />

during a summer’s night, when the light<br />
won’t quit and the sky is glorious.<br />
Hiking or Biking the Ridge Road<br />
Trail, Dawson City<br />
The 32-km Ridge Road Heritage Trail<br />
makes for an enjoyable afternoon of<br />
mountain biking or a one- to three-day<br />
hike along the ridgetops back to the<br />
Klondike River valley. Pick up a brochure<br />
and a trail map at the Dawson City<br />
Visitor Information Centre.<br />

Diamond Tooth Gerties<br />
A visitor can’t come to Dawson City<br />
without spending an evening at Diamond<br />
Tooth Gerties Gambling Hall. Gamblers can<br />
whoop it up like sourdoughs, while Gertie<br />
and the cancan girls perform shows<br />
nightly. The casino is operated by the<br />
Klondike Visitors Association—a non-profit<br />
