Fruits and vegetables were placed in cooler boxes which were kept at approximately 0 0 C
and tea leaves were stored in plastics before being transported to South Africa for further
analysis. On arrival, the tea samples were stored at room temperature, fruit and vegetable
samples were stored at temperatures below -10 0 C.
