with the Minnesota Vikings and then the next four years with the seattle<br />

seahawks (2006-09).<br />

six-yard run on the opening play of the game. Caught a crucial 20-yard<br />

pass with 1:25 remaining in the game on the lions’ game winning drive<br />

that led to a Kevin smith touchdown.<br />

¾ Caught one pass for 11 yards in the lions’ 27-19 loss at san francisco<br />

(9/16) in Week 2.<br />

¾ Nearly tied a career high for receptions with 10 catches for 69 yards<br />

in Week 3 at Tennessee (9/23). Burleson and Wr Calvin Johnson each<br />

caught 10 passes in the game, becoming the first pair of receivers in<br />

team history to each have 10 receptions in a single game.<br />

¾ among his catches included a 3-yard touchdown catch in the fourth<br />

quarter, immediately followed by his second career two-point conversion<br />

reception.<br />

¾ Caught five passes for 51 yards, his longest for 26 yards, and rushed the<br />

ball once for eight yards in Week 4 <strong>vs</strong>. Minnesota (9/30).<br />

¾ Caught his second touchdown pass of the season in Week 6 at Philadelphia<br />

(10/14) on a 17-yard strike from QB Matthew stafford that sparked<br />

a lions comeback to send the game into overtime on their way to a<br />

and also had two carries for 22 yards on the ground.<br />

for 85 yards (7.7 avg).<br />

game and took a 20-13 lead into the locker room. The last time they<br />

gained over 300 yards in the first half of a game was <strong>vs</strong>. Minnesota<br />

(11/16/97, 339 yards). it was also the first time since that game that<br />

the team has gained over 300 yards of total offense in the first half.<br />
