From 1922-28 RC worked in Mukden (Shenyang)
in Manchuria where he helped build an
armoury for the warlord “The Mukden Tiger”
Zhang Zuolin. RC was an eager amateur film
maker and filmed the Chinese daily life besides
the funeral of Zhang Zuolin. RC was liquidated
in his home April 1945 for his participation in
the Danish Resistance.
The documentary “Ingeniøren og Krigsherren”
(The Warlord and the Engineer) is filmed by RC.
RC has published the book “Kineseren i sit rige”
(Chinaman in his kingdom), 1945
