chemistry in the Kansas City college and professor of Therapeutics
and materia medica in the Kansas Medical college.

Parkersburg, W. Va., Dec. 31.—(Special.)—The commissioners
appointed to make a partition of the real estate of the
late J. V. Rathbone closed their work yesterday by awarding
Mrs. Margaret W. Paden. Airs. Martha Ramsey Airs. Sophie
R. Jackson, Peter D. Rathbone and J. V. Rathbone, a frac-
tion over $43,700 each. These are the only heirs. In addi-
tion to the real estate divided there is about $350,000 in
stocks, bonds and other securities and cash to be apportioned
which will bring the legacies up to about $120,000 each.
The valuation set upon the real estate by the commissioners
is considered very low. (A clipping).
