ried Robie Hopkins in Foster. R.I.. March 26. 1775: she was<br />

born in Richmond, Exeter Co., R. I.. July 1 2. 1756; she died<br />

and buried in Foster. R. I. He married, second.<br />

Sarah P. Bliven: she was born in Richmond. R. I.. March<br />

18, 1786. and died in Norwich, Conn., July 28. 1878; she was<br />

the sister of Thankful, second wife of John <strong>Rathbone</strong>. Nathan<br />

removed to Flopkinton about 1760. He was drafted<br />

to serve in the army of the Revolution and served as a coast<br />

defender. His widow drew a pension of $96 a year: she lived<br />

with her daughter-in-law seventeen years. Sarah and Thank-<br />

ful were daughters of Samuel and Polly (Worden) Biiven.<br />

He was buried on one of his farms, among his kindred. He<br />

was a justice of the peace for many years: he was a successful<br />

man and a prominent physician. Children:<br />
