LHC recognises following schools in Belgium:<br />

• Ecole Belge d’Homéopathie,<br />
• International School for Classical homeopathy (ISKH),<br />
• Vlaamse Studiever<strong>en</strong>iging voor Unitaire Homeopathische g<strong>en</strong>eeskun<strong>de</strong> (VSU).<br />
Several schools in the Netherlands are also recognised.<br />
5.3.3.2 Quality control<br />
None of the schools collaborates with an university or college.<br />
In or<strong>de</strong>r to guarantee the quality of education, gui<strong>de</strong>lines are <strong>de</strong>veloped by the<br />
European Homeopathic organisations and these gui<strong>de</strong>lines are modified to the Belgian<br />
situation by the professional unions or by the Faculty (see <strong><strong>de</strong>s</strong>cription above).<br />
5.3.3.3 Exclusion diagnosis<br />
In this report, we <strong>de</strong>fine the a medical diagnosis as the recognition of symptoms, the<br />
<strong>de</strong>fining of a pathology, the recognition of risk factors and the differ<strong>en</strong>tial diagnosis with<br />
other pathologies.<br />
This compet<strong>en</strong>ce is consi<strong>de</strong>red as a necessary tool in primary care and belongs to<br />
medical knowledge of a physician. In or<strong>de</strong>r to rectify the lack of this knowledge, schools<br />
for non-physicians have incorporated medical courses in their program. Question is of<br />
an approximately 127h are <strong>en</strong>ough to become equival<strong>en</strong>t to a physician?<br />
7 Organon of the Healing Art: (Organon <strong>de</strong>r rationell<strong>en</strong> Heilkun<strong>de</strong>) by Samuel Hanhemann, 1810, laid the<br />
foundations of all theory and method of homeopathy. The work was repeatedly revised by Hahnemann<br />
and published in six editions, with the name changed from the second onwards to Organon of Medicine<br />
(Organon <strong>de</strong>r Heilkunst). 113
