George West, his father was born Mar. 20, 1767 in Rhode
Island; married Dec. 30, 1790 and died May 1, 1838 in Graf-
ton, X. Y. His wife Abigail Benedict was born March 12,
1766 and died Dec. 13, i860. Stephen Potter his grandfather
was born Feb. 8, 1759: married Xov. 29. 1780 in
