Rhode Island in a wagon, which also contained their household<br />

goods. There were at that time no bridges over the<br />

streams, and the latter part of the journey was made through<br />

an unbroken wilderness. Mr. <strong>Rathbone</strong> built a log house on<br />

the south side of the Susquehanna river, in which he lived<br />

until his death, which occurred about 1K20: both he and his<br />

wife are buried in Otsego countv. Children:<br />
