projects in other industrial countries
developing countries (Clean Development
Mechanism, CDM). There are
tradable emission certificates for
projects resulting in reduced emissions
abroad that are credited to the
domestic target. An Austrian bank
handles the purchase of emission
certificates from Kyoto projects on
behalf of the Republic of Austria.
