SECOND AND THIRD YEAR
GE ELECT Students should begin the 12 credits of free electives that are
required. It is recommended that students consider using these
credits to develop either a minor or a second major.
GE PHIL or T/RS Students must take one more course chosen from either
Philosophy or Theology/Religious Studies. Courses that meet
this requirement have a (P) preceding the title.
Most students will not have had the opportunity to complete all of the GE requirements listed
under FIRST AND SECOND YEAR and, therefore, will attend to these requirements in the
THIRD and even the FOURTH years. Students are advised to have fulfilled some of their cultural
diversity and writing intensive course requirements during this time. 2
FOURTH YEAR
Finish GE requirements that have not been completed by the end of the THIRD year,
including the writing intensive and cultural diversity requirements. 2
