11.5. Occasional Tours:<br />
11.5.1. Occasional Recruiting and Retention tours are authorized for short periods of time to<br />
fulfill work requirements that directly support recruiters and ROMs. Requests for occasional<br />
Recruiting and Retention tours will be submitted in writing through HRO to NGB/RS with<br />
full justification and expected results.<br />
11.5.2. Occasional Recruiting and Retention tours will be for a minimum of 31 days and will<br />
normally not exceed 179 days in a fiscal year. Provisions of paragraph 13.4 apply. .<br />
11.6. Tour Termination:<br />
11.6.1. Termination of Recruiting and Retention tours, when necessary, must be handled<br />
expediently IAW <strong>ANGI</strong> <strong>36</strong>-2602, ANG Recruiting Expenditures and Management of<br />
Recruiting and Retention Programs and this instruction.<br />
11.6.2. The immediate supervisor will furnish the <strong>Air</strong>man a memorandum counseling<br />
statement when production or expected performance standards are not being met. The<br />
<strong>Air</strong>man will be given adequate time, as determined by supervisor and RRS, IAW <strong>ANGI</strong> <strong>36</strong>-<br />
2602, ANG Recruiting Expenditures and Management of Recruiting and Retention<br />
Programs. If an <strong>Air</strong>man’s performance standards are not met, the <strong>Air</strong>man will be<br />
involuntary curtailment IAW <strong>ANGI</strong> <strong>36</strong>-<strong>101</strong>.
