MEMORANDUM FOR (Commander)<br />

SUBJECT: Results – Calendar Year (XXXX) AGR Continuation Board<br />

Attached are the Calendar Year (XXXX) AGR Continuation Board (ACB) results for<br />

your unit. Each of your affected <strong>Air</strong>men must be notified by you in person no later than<br />

(date). During notification, you must ensure that each <strong>Air</strong>man completes and signs a CY<br />

(XXXX) ACB Member Acknowledgement of Decision Notification. A copy of the signed<br />

acknowledgement must be provided to State HRO for each <strong>Air</strong>man NLT (date).<br />

Each individual will be contacted by HRO, on or about (date), and provided specific<br />

instructions. Based on their ACB result, these instructions will prepare them for either<br />

subsequent extension, return to drill status Guardsman, or retirement.<br />

AGR <strong>Air</strong>man may request reconsideration of their ACB decision in writing. The <strong>Air</strong>man must<br />

justify why the ACB result is not in the best interest of the (State) <strong>Air</strong> National Guard.<br />

Supporting justification, not provided with the original ACB Worksheet, may be provided. The<br />

reconsideration request must be reviewed and endorsed in a timely manner by each level of<br />

command to HRO for processing. Endorsements must include support or non-support of<br />

individual’s request with additional rationale. Reconsideration requests received without the<br />

appropriate chain of command coordination will be returned to the <strong>Air</strong>man without action.<br />

Reconsiderations must be received by HRO within 30 days of the date on the memorandum of<br />

notification of the ACB decision. The <strong>Air</strong>man’s chain of command will not hold a<br />

reconsideration request to circumvent the 30 day submission requirement. The reconsideration<br />

decision of the The Adjutant General (TAG) is final. There is no reconsideration beyond the<br />

TAG.<br />
