2 Center Width<br />

Distributes the dialogue output from the center channel to left and right<br />

channels and widens the sound image <strong>in</strong> the front.<br />

0 – 7 (Default : 3)<br />

• You can set this when the sound mode is Dolby PLg/gx <strong>in</strong> the “Music” mode.<br />

• The smaller the value, the more dialogue is concentrated on the center<br />

channel. The larger the value, the more dialogue is distributed to front left and<br />

right channels, and the more the sound image widens <strong>in</strong> the front.<br />

2 Height Ga<strong>in</strong><br />

Control the front height channel volume.<br />

Low : Reduce the front height channel volume.<br />

Normal (Default) : Front height channel sound is output with standard<br />

sound volume.<br />

High : Increase the front height channel volume.<br />

• You can set this <strong>in</strong> the “PLgz” sound mode or when us<strong>in</strong>g the PLgz decoder.<br />

2 Speaker Select<br />

Makes sett<strong>in</strong>gs for the speakers outputt<strong>in</strong>g sound.<br />

Surround Back : Sound is output from the surround back speakers.<br />

Height : Sound is output from the front height speakers.<br />

Wide : Sound is output from the front wide speakers.<br />

Back/Height : Sound is output from the surround back and front height<br />

speakers.<br />

Back/Wide : Sound is output from the surround back and front wide<br />

speakers.<br />

Height/Wide : Sound is output from the front height and front wide<br />

speakers.<br />

• This can be set when “Assign Mode” (vpage 192) is set to “9.1ch(SB/FH/<br />

FW)”, “7.1ch + ZONE2”, “7.1ch(Bi-Amp)” or “7.1ch + Front B”.<br />

• The speakers that can be selected by the “Ma<strong>in</strong> Speakers” (vpage 193)<br />

sett<strong>in</strong>g are changed.<br />

• You can set this when the sound mode is “MULTI CH STEREO” or “NEO:X”.<br />

2 Set Defaults<br />

The “Surround Parameter” sett<strong>in</strong>gs are returned to the default sett<strong>in</strong>gs.
