Select<strong>in</strong>g audio programs<br />

Playback<br />

HD Radio Technology enables stations to broadcast multiple Audio<br />

Program and data services on HD2 / HD3 / HD4 channels.<br />

Select the tun<strong>in</strong>g mode (“HD-Auto”, “Auto” or<br />

“<strong>Manual</strong>”).<br />

Press TUNE + or TUNE – to tune <strong>in</strong> the desired Multicast<br />

channel.<br />

• If the station you are tun<strong>in</strong>g <strong>in</strong> has multiple audio programs,“HD1”is<br />

<strong>in</strong>dicated on the display.<br />

If it only has one audio program, “HD” is <strong>in</strong>dicated.<br />

• When the unit receives multicast channels, the multicast program<br />

number (HD2) is displayed to the right of the station name.<br />

NOTE<br />

• This function is not available for AM HD Radio stations because they cannot<br />

broadcast multicast channels.<br />

• If digital audio data cannot be received after the station is selected, or if the station<br />

signal is weak, the unit may not be able to receive the multicast channels.<br />

• If the station signal is weak, the digital audio of the multicast channel may cut out.<br />
